| Dear Arm of Hope Friends, It’s hard to believe fall is just around the corner and with it comes the Arm of Hope Parking Lot Picnic! It’s actually a good thing that COVID turned what used to be an indoor banquet into a family-friendly party in the parking lot of Hope Community Church in Mount Joy. If you haven’t yet joined us, the picnic is an Arm of Hope fundraiser that includes great food delivered to your car and a time to hear about the many amazing things God is doing in Ghana. |

| So consider this your invitation to our annual Arm of Hope Parking Lot Picnic on October 1. Dinner will be served to your car anytime between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. At 7:00 p.m. Philip Darko will be sharing an update on the work in Ghana, and he we will also be introducing you to the new Arm of Hope clinic. As you leave, you will have an opportunity to give and help this clinic become a reality. So bring your family, your friends, and your chairs, and come out for this super fun evening. | The year is flying by, and our Ghana camp trip is rapidly approaching as well. My Ghana friends are already messaging me and telling me they can’t wait for camp. Please pray for our team as we raise funds, prepare our hearts, and prepare our materials for this very special trip coming up on December 26. |

| Not a week goes by in which God does not overwhelm me with his provision and His goodness–money comes in to cover each expense, and abundant generosity for the work of Arm of Hope overwhelms me with gratefulness and joy. So many of you have been a part of this over the past year. I just want to say thank you. I know it’s not enough, so I also pray God will bless you in ways you cannot even imagine. | Currently, Arm of Hope has over 100 students waiting for sponsorship. I am thankful for my board, as they are also helping me with this huge job. But the truth is, the Zimmermans’ personal circle is pretty much tapped. I’m humbled to look over the long list of Arm of Hope supporters and sponsors and see almost every single one of my family and friends on the list. If any of you would like to take on just one more child for just one more dollar each day, I think you already know what a difference you will be making.
