THE MEDICAL CLINIC
Im excited to tell you that God has provided above and beyond what is needed for the land we purchased for the medical clinic in Ghana! Thank you to all of you who gave so generously! PRAISE GOD for his provision once again. We will continue to leave this account open, so God can continue to provide. ASK GOD for continued wisdom as we pursue this dream in His timing.
CAMP 2021
Due to the late start of school in Ghana, students will be forgoing their August break at the time we normally hold our camp, so our Ghana team will once again be traveling after Christmas. PRAISE GOD for providing a wonderful, gifted team for our 8th annual camp. ASK GOD to give our team creativity and unity, as we begin to brainstorm and plan.
LIBRARY BOOKS
Librarian Grace has informed me that the most used books in the Arm of Hope library are children’s books! We would like to ship a couple of tubs of children’s books to Ghana this summer. If you have some good quality books for children (not chapter books) that you would like to donate, please contact me at cheryl@armofhopeinghana.org. PRAISE GOD that our children are enjoying the library on a regular basis. While going through the profiles, it was so encouraging to see the increase in students who list reading as their favorite hobby!
5K FUNDRAISER
Our annual 5k is coming up on May 22 at Hope Community Church. It will be a super fun day for the whole family with chip timing and prizes. Walkers and runners of all ages are welcome! If you are not comfortable joining a large group, we have virtual options as well. To maximize your support of Arm of Hope, make a fundraising page, and get your friends to sponsor your run!
