Greetings Arm of Hope Partners,

It is with great joy I bring you these incredible updates and answers to prayer. What a privilege to watch first-hand as God carries out his plans and purposes!

THIS PAST MONTH
We have had the privilege of hosting our Arm of Hope director in Ghana, Philip Darko, in our home during the month of October. It was a great time full of partnering with churches and individuals. It is so good to see the vision of Arm of Hope spreading more and more as God continues to provide for His work.

THE CLINIC
I am so excited to update you and let you know that over $70,000 has been raised so far for the new Arm of Hope Medical Clinic! Our initial $25,000 matching grant was met less than a week after the picnic fundraiser, and money has continued to steadily come in since that time. This fund will remain open until the clinic is complete.

When our team is in Ghana after Christmas, Arm of Hope will be breaking ground for the new clinic, and construction will start at the beginning of the year. Currently, we already have raised enough money to build the ground floor and part of the second floor!

On top of that, someone has come forward with another matching grant of $10,000 which will be matched until the end of the year! You can help us make this next goal by sending a check to Arm of Hope, 1708 Ridge Road, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 or giving online at armofhopeinghana.org and choosing “Medical Clinic” from the giving menu.

Thank you in advance for your continued partnership as we build the clinic. Click below to view the strategic plan for the medical clinic, so you can track the building progress and see the purposes behind it.

THE TRIP
In two months, our Arm of Hope team will be on the ground in Ghana! We are looking forward to a wonderful, warm, new year with 650 campers! Our team is small, but what a gift they are as they come together to use their God-given abilities to serve alongside our Arm of Hope partners in Ghana. Please pray for us as we continue to raise funds and prepare for this adventure. We are trusting God to use this trip to point many young people to Himself.

In closing, I want you all to know that you are making a difference. You may never see it first-hand, but I have been there year after year and have seen the way your sponsorship gifts have changed young lives in miraculous ways and your gifts to the Development Fund have provided kids a place to learn and grow in their faith. Your partnership is truly changing the world, and I am so thankful for each one of you!

With Gratitude,
Cheryl Zimmerman
