Dear Partners and Friends,
God is so good, and we are so thankful for the ways He is working in and through the children of Arm of Hope. As we look forward to the new year, we are doing so with eyes wide open in anticipation of all He has planned.
Over the past few weeks, we have completed the huge task of organizing over 400 sponsored children with their financial partners. We are so grateful for each of you who have chosen to invest in the lives of children struggling in the slum community of Accra. If your family is like ours and you have trouble thinking of something you really want or need for Christmas this year, consider giving the gift of a sponsorship. For $30 a month, you can give a gift that will impact a child in Ghana and also honor a friend or family member throughout the year. Our annual Christmas Cookie Bake Fundraiser is coming up on Monday, December 16. Trays of 2 dozen cookies can be ordered for a generous donation of any amount to Arm of Hope. Join the Facebook event, or feel free to order by emailing us armofhopeinghana@gmail.com, and let us know how many trays you would like. These cookies are homemade, freeze well, and make excellent Christmas gifts!
We are already anticipating our 2020 camp trip. Email us if you would like an application. Please pray that God brings the perfect team for our upcoming camp year, and pray for wisdom for the leadership team as they sift through applicants.
If you would like to make a year-end, tax-deductible gift to support the work of Arm of Hope, you can do so by giving to our Development Fund at armofhopeinghana.org, or you can mail a check to Hope Community Church, 1806 Harrisburg Avenue, Mount Joy, PA, and mark it clearly for the Arm of Hope Development Fund. Gifts to the Development Fund make it possible for Arm of Hope to go forward into the new year with the resources needed to carry out the plans God has laid before us. He is changing lives, and we are so excited for the privilege to be a part of it!
