SEVEN DAYS.

ONE WEEK.

In just one week from this very moment, our team will be driving in two big vans en route to JFK airpot in New York City.  We will be pulling a trailer loaded with our supplies for camp in Ghana.  The vans will be filled with excitement and anticipation for all that awaits us over the next couple of days.  I’m pretty sure the thing we are looking forward to most of all is…

THE CHILDREN!

When we talk about the purpose of our trip, we boil it down to this simple statement:  To build relationships with the children of Arm of Hope through example and relationships and to introduce them to Jesus Christ and help them to grow in Him.

Arm of Hope currently has nearly 350 children going to school with our student sponsorship program.  We anticipate over 400 children attending our camp – many of them will be the sponsored children and some will be new children attending Bible Club or siblings of sponsored children.

The children of Arm of Hope have been anticipating this camp since the day they left camp in 2018.  It is the highlight of their year.  They look forward to the games, the crafts, the competition, the worship, and the new t shirts and bags.

Please pray for these children today.  If you have a child that you personally sponsor, pray for them by name.  We are trusting and believing that God will work at this year’s camp.  We are trusting and believing that He will go deeper than the fun, and He will change hearts for His kingdom.

When I look at the children of Arm of Hope gathered in a room praising God together, I see so much POTENTIAL. Each of them is made in the image of God.  Each of them is made for His glory.  Each and ever one of them has the gifts needed to impact their community and their country.  Each of then has the ability to reach others with the love of Jesus and impact others for eternity.

Pray today that children will be impacted for eternity at the 2019 camp.  Pray that God’s love will go down deep in their hearts and give them the desire to surrender their lives completely to Him.
