Dear Friends,
Thank you for your faithful prayers and support! You have touched the lives of so many children and the people of Ghana by supporting us in ministry through your prayers and resources this year.
I have recently been in the States, but I am grateful to have returned home to Ghana on November 22 to continue with ministry. I am still trusting our God for the great things in store for us as the year comes to a close.
Words cannot express my thankfulness to have you as partners in fulfilling the Great Commission. I am blessed beyond measure to have you working with us through your prayers and support to share the Gospel with the Ghanaian people, especially with vulnerable children in the slums.
I have enjoyed so much my time in the US with friends and supporters. Each of you are so special to me, and it is always good to be in the States for a break from ministry and a time of refreshment. This reminds me of a verse that I encourage myself with often in Matthew 11:28. “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” How we need to come to the Lord when we feel overwhelmed, or discouraged.
In October, I was so happy to attend a conference in Chicago and then continue on to Ohio and PA. This was a time of reconnecting with partner churches, individuals, and friends I have not seen in years. It was so nice to see some old friends and make new ones. I missed Ghana and my family, friends, and the children we minister to there, but I had a great time sharing about what the Lord is doing. The Lord has been faithful in giving me great services in a couple of churches I visited. According to the testimonies following these services, there was encouragement and blessing from the Word of God to the many individuals attending.
One of the highlights that I experienced was the privilege to be at the first ever Arm of Hope banquet with testimonies from former team members who have visited Ghana and served with the summer kids’ camp for children living in the slums. It has been my honor to serve with them the past three years. They told stories of some of their experiences from their time in Ghana, and it was a challenge to all of us gathered to commit our time and resources to spread God’s love and mercy not only in Ghana, but around the world! It takes all of us together in His service, some sending and others going. Both are in obedience to the Great Commission.
Just like the apostle Paul, “We thank God on every remembrance of you.” I am so honored to have you as partners in bringing the Good News to the Ghanaian people. The fulfillment of the Great Commission is a monumental task and we are blessed to be able to work with you. Thank you once again for giving generously at the banquet and throughout the year.
We sincerely thank you for the blessing of your prayers and financial gifts. We pray God’s blessings on you, your family, and your ministry this Christmas and in the year to come.
May more and more children all around the world come to know and follow our Savior, Jesus Christ. May God bless you and yours this Christmas Season!
